I'm not sure what treatment other than surgery would work. Mine was an umbilical hernia, and surgery was the only way to fix it. I've been doing fine for 13 years now. Good luck!!!

Yes, that's normal. I checked the status every day for 3 months, and then one day I looked at the agenda and we were finally on it! 3 days later the status changed to approved. It usually takes 3-4 months!!!
I got multifocal lenses in both eyes a year ago. I had my pre- and post-surgery exams at Asian Eye Hospital in Biñan. Now I get by without glasses in almost every situation (20/20 in both eyes), except I need a little help when reading up close. Neither surgery really hurt; the harder part was actually mental, having to stay awake while someone touches your eye.
That's your wife's fault for allowing it, and your fault for continuing to prop them up. Sorry, but you should have talked to your wife about this before posting it online. A good woman would never let her husband be used. She'd do whatever it takes to protect him. Your in-laws are pathetic parasites and should bear the consequences of their own laziness. You can't do this for the rest of your life. How is this sustainable?

Aussies would have loved this.
What the fuck is that creature making air raid siren sounds lmao what is this
Remote means remote. If a US company doesn't allow US citizens to live in another country, they should state that in the job posting. I would never advise anyone to lie about where they live. I'm a software engineer who has lived in the Philippines and worked remotely for years. My employers are mortgage lenders, and I'm a W2 full-time employee. I always disclose my location before the interview. Most employers check social media before interviews, and 98% of us reveal where we live there. My LinkedIn profile is accessed without a VPN and I've had no issues. In fact, my employers require all remote employees to use the company VPN for security reasons. For payroll and tax purposes I use an Anytime mailbox in Florida. Living here, the first 120k is exempt from federal tax. I don't mean to criticize, but using a VPN to hide where you live for a position designated as remote looks suspicious.
No.
I miss the neighborhood Mexican family restaurants. I grew up in a Mexican-American family in Houston, so it's hard to find real Mexican food here. There's always something missing.

The photos are so stunning that I'll let the rules slide a bit. Please also post a video of you climbing the 101 steps in the middle of the day. It really seems like a place worth visiting.
Just got an email from Immigration. Looks like the system was stuck in some kind of infinite loop. Everything's been sorted out, and it was the official website. Thank you so much to everyone who helped.

It's the 5 Star Liner. The buses leaving Manila are pretty cheap, you can sleep on the way, and they stop for breaks and meals. Don't get ripped off buying stuff from the vendors the driver lets on.
Jollibee or Sogoland.

Labor is ridiculously cheap here and tools are really expensive. Easy math.

If you travel together, you don't need to buy one. When you arrive, you get a one-year Balikbayan visa. Bring your marriage certificate.
