It was a good experience in Vietnam.

The orange cat that heard the sound of a snack bag

> I went to the 24-hour grocery store down the street. The owner was locking the door. I said, "Hey, the sign says you're open 24 hours." He said, "Yeah, but not continuously."
I did the ACR card a month ago. It was my second extension. I didn't need any other documents. I used my passport photo for the ACR card.

It's a real irony that people who married a bar girl or a problematic woman act shocked by the outcome. They knew exactly where the story started, so did they really think getting married would completely change the plot?
You have a tourist visa, right? Before the 30 days are up, go to the Immigration office and get a 29-day visa exemption extension, and before that 29 days ends, go again and extend to 1, 2, or even 6 months depending on the office. If someone told you that you have to leave before 30 days, that's only half the truth. They didn't explain all the options, just the one in front of them.
The best exchange rate is when you withdraw without conversion (WITHOUT conversion). Many ATMs will ask you to accept their own converted rate, but that's a rip-off. As far as I remember, BDO machines don't do that.
Wise is really good. The fees are low and transfers are very fast.

Regardless of how you brew it, freshly ground coffee and fresh beans (roasted within the last 2–3 weeks) make the biggest difference.
I use a Smart SIM. 499 pesos for 21GB, no time limit. It's the best plan a local friend recommended to me.
You can choose any hospital in the program that's close to where you live. I use it every year for free checkups and free prescription medicine. However, to fully enroll, you have to go in person and get your first checkup at the hospital you picked, and the doctor needs to enter all the results into the YAKAP online system. For prescriptions, the doctor has to prescribe the medicine, enter it into the system, and generate a QR code, which you then use to get free medicine at participating YAKAP pharmacies. If any one of these isn't done properly, they won't cover the cost. Since it's a new program, many staff members aren't sure how it works yet, so be sure to communicate with the doctors and staff. Also: YAKAP is basically for outpatient care, while PhilHealth covers some minor outpatient procedures and all inpatient procedures.
Avoid Holy Week. The tourist spots, ports, and ferries are all way too crowded.
I already have a peso account here. What else would you need in the Philippines?

For starters, just put more trash bins around the city. Another simple thing is to stop automatically giving plastic bags for small purchases like a single candy or a bottle of cola. Give them when customers ask, but it shouldn't be the default. Even these simple changes would go a long way toward reducing littering and keeping the city clean.
