Hello, I arrive at Ninoy Aquino Airport around 8 p.m. Is there a way to use the internet while I'm in Manila? The hostel I booked doesn't have internet.

I use a Smart SIM. 499 pesos for 21GB, no time limit. It's the best plan a local friend recommended to me.

You can buy an eSIM so it's ready to use as soon as you land. You can buy it at home before you leave. Or buy a local SIM at the airport, and they'll set it up for you. If you want a local SIM, it's cheaper to go into the city and buy one at the Globe or Smart store in any mall. Be sure to bring your passport.

Buy a local SIM card with data.

Don't buy a SIM in the Philippines. There are a lot of scammers who take your load (prepaid credit) and do phishing.

I'm on T-Mobile, and while in the Philippines, there's a plan that's $50 more a month that's unlimited for everything. Also, there's a local Philippine phone internet plan for 700 pesos, which I think is unlimited too. Check it out, it's really cheap.
