Hello everyone,
I have a question about extending my tourist visa. I'm on day 59 of my stay, so it's time for my second visa extension. This time, I heard that because of the ACR card, I have to go to the local BI office in person.
My question is this: do I need to bring my own 2x2 inch photos for the card, or does the Dumaguete BI office take them on site?
Also, what exactly do I need to print out? The application form (filled out), the original passport and copies of the passport photo page, the most recent entry stamp, and the extension record, plus the receipt from my last extension? Is there anything else I might be forgetting?
Thank you so much for any help!
I did the ACR card a month ago. It was my second extension. I didn't need any other documents. I used my passport photo for the ACR card.
For the ACR card, they took my photo with a PC camera, and the new card used that photo too. Bring at least 10,000 pesos, because it doesn't get any cheaper over time.
😂 Just bring your passport, a pen, and money. They'll hold your hand through the whole process. 😀
I used a photo taken from my biometric passport for my ACR I-card. I brought two 2x2 inch passport photos, but they didn't ask for them. I filled out the ACR I-Card form from the BI website beforehand, but the BI guard gave me the simpler tourist ACR I-card form. Here's everything I needed: • Passport • Tourist ACR I-card form (from the BI guard) • Cash in pesos for payment The place was the BI branch office at SM Aura in BGC, Taguig. I didn't pay the rush fee. I left my passport there and picked it up 1 to 2 weeks later. Keep a copy of your passport and the official BI receipt to use as "proof of passport" in the meantime.
