Ready for Another Night of Protection!
As the sun sets and the shores grow quiet, our team is once again ready for Night Patrol — walking the kilometer-long shoreline of Morong to welcome our nesting mama pawikans and help guard the precious eggs they entrust to us.
What We Do on Night Patrol:
Walk the shores under the moonlight
Watch for mama pawikans coming ashore
Keep a respectful distance while she lays her eggs
Carefully collect and transport the eggs to our hatchery
Ensure every nest is safe from poachers, predators, and the rising tide
Why We Do It:
Because every nest matters.
Because every egg is a promise.
Because every hatchling that makes it to the sea is a victory worth every sleepless night.
