The most delicious thing I ate on this trip.

Yukhoe Bibimbap and Pajeon at Jinju Sikdang.

It's tastier than in Korea. You can choose between spicy and mild gochujang to your preference... And the buchu-jeon (chive pancake) was so crispy, like "wasasak." The kimbap and side dishes were also delicious.

Overall, I rarely found Korean restaurants in Angeles to be inferior to those in Korea.

I think there's no need to have preconceived notions or biases just because it's overseas.

The only downside is that the prices are the same as in Korea.

I recommend everything except the tonkatsu.

Yukhoe bibimbap, gimbap, tteokbokki, cod, etc..

The tonkatsu was the worst. It might have been the chef's mistake that day, but it was still too much.

Spicy Clam and Mussel Soup (4.5/5)

1. They give you a generous amount of chili peppers and garlic, making it truly spicy.

2. The portion size is more than enough for two people. However, the amount can vary from day to day, which is a minus point.

3. They say the mussels are not imported Philippine green mussels but are sourced locally from Korea. They are small but plump.

Highly recommended as a side dish with soju!

The Korean food I've had in Anghelos is delicious and doesn't fall short at all when compared to Korean food back home. If we're just talking about taste, some places are even tastier than in Korea.

Anyone who says the taste is completely different from Korea because it's abroad is mostly just showing off.
