This is an 18-hole public golf course on Manuel A. Roxas Hwy in Clark Freeport. It is a military golf course located inside the air base. Several blog posts say it is a course formerly used by the U.S. military that was converted to public use, and according to a 2024 blog post, its former name was McKinley Golf Course. Many reviews list as advantages that you can tee off in order of arrival without a reservation and that you can play alone.
The course is flat and par 72. Many reviews say there are lots of trees along the fairways and bunkers on both sides of the small elevated greens, so approach shots need to be accurate. The greens are better maintained than the fairways, but several reviews say they are slow. There are many complaints that the fairway grass is sparse and the ground is hard. This is especially bad in the dry season, and reviews say the grass turns green in the rainy season. Several reviews also mention that there are holes where you hit across a road inside the base, so you have to watch for passing vehicles as you play.
Many reviews say the caddies are mostly experienced, find balls well, and give swing advice. You can ride an electric cart, or you can walk the course while the caddie pulls a manual cart for you. The weekday green fee for 18 holes is ₱1,000 for locals and ₱1,200 for foreigners. Some reviews say there are separate weekend rates and rates for ages 60 and over. Clubs can be rented, and there is a driving range with grass tees as well as a bunker practice area. According to an October 2026 blog post, the driving range was renovated and now has wooden chairs, a fan at each station, and mats in better condition.
There are no shower rooms or lockers, so it is best to come dressed in your golf clothes. There is also advice to bring ₱100 bills, since it is hard to get change. According to a March 2026 review, a passport or ID was required at entry because it is inside the base. Several reviews say Grab drivers often get lost and can't find the clubhouse, so it is best to tell them to go to the clubhouse. One review says they couldn't get a ride for the trip back and asked the front desk for help.
Reviews say it is fairly close to Friendship Korean Town and Clark Airport. According to Google Maps, there are wheelchair-accessible parking spaces and an accessible entrance. Many reviews say it suits beginners and anyone who wants a practice round before playing other golf courses in Clark. Inquiries can be made through Facebook.
