This is a 36-hole golf course in the hilly terrain of the Sacobia Valley in the Clark Freeport Zone. It was formerly known as Clark Sun Valley and now operates under the name D'Heights. It is owned and operated by a Korean company, so Korean-language assistance is available. The course consists of two 18-hole layouts (each Par 72). The Clark course is members-only, while the Sun Valley course is a public course open to regular golfers.
Sitting at an elevation of around 350 m, it is cooler than golf courses on flat land, and many reviews say the mountains and valleys open up in wide views throughout the round. It is a mountain-style course with a continuous series of uphill and downhill holes, slopes, and bunkers, and several reviews say it feels similar to golf courses in Korea. Many reviews say the fairways are wide and the turf is well maintained by Clark standards. On the downside, some reviews mention that on certain tee boxes you hit from mats instead of grass. Others mention that carts can't enter the fairways, so there are stretches where you have to walk, and that the course is crowded even though it is on the expensive side for Clark.
The clubhouse has a pro shop, locker rooms, showers, and a large restaurant. The restaurant is said to have a varied menu and good Korean food. There is a driving range, and clubs can be rented. The red LOVE sculpture behind the clubhouse is often recommended as a spot for taking photos with the mountains as a backdrop.
For reference, 18-hole green fees for a weekday on the public course in the low season start from ₱2,900, and in the peak season (November 1 to March 31) are ₱5,000 on weekdays and ₱6,000 on weekends. In addition, there is a cart fee of ₱1,500 (1 cart for 2 people), a caddie fee of ₱700 per person, and insurance of ₱150, and club rental is USD 70.
Some reviews say the staff are friendly and attentive to requests. On the other hand, there are also complaints that the guard at the main gate treated incoming vehicles rudely. Because there are many Korean golfers, the clubhouse can get quite crowded, and some reviews mention a short wait in the middle of the round.
It is located on a hill near the Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, and many reviews say you have to drive up for quite a while. Some reviews also say there is almost no public transportation nearby, so it is better to come by car. Other reviews advise setting the country club itself as your destination, since map apps may direct you to the resort or casino down below. Reservations and inquiries can be made by phone, Facebook, or the website.
