It's not just CHED. Other agencies are hard to get paid by too. At my previous company we did a project with what I think was the DA (Department of Agriculture), and I remember it took years to get paid.

What an amazing view. The mountains are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
I know everyone hates James Corden, but I genuinely can't stand him.
Western Union is more convenient and available everywhere.

You're buying a motorcycle that you can't get parts for and nobody knows how to service? What could possibly go wrong?
Church seems like the ideal place. About half of your post was about religion (you didn't really mention other hobbies or interests), and it's clear that religion is an important part of your life. The best place to meet religious people is church!

Rule number one: don't announce your life plans on social media with photos. Good luck with the move. 👍

I'm about 12km from the summit and I just heard a loud boom. I thought it was thunder, but it turns out Mayon erupted. (Anyway, nice BU photo)
If you don't agree with this, you're not a feminist. End of story.
Our youngest can even hear the ice cream.
Why do you think they don't run?!!? Is that a serious question??
In other news, water is wet.

Wow, this layout style really brings back memories
An Arab guy. I'm tall and my beard was grown out full. In Vietnam, 1 gay guy and 2 women who shared an elevator with me were whispering about me. They said things like 'we don't have to look for him anymore, here he is,' and all laughed together. As soon as the doors opened on the ground floor I said 'Excuse me.' lolololol They must have been embarrassed, because they just stood there and couldn't even get out of the elevator lolol
It's interesting reading this. What I understood was that even if you "convert" a UK license to a Philippine license, you keep your UK license and can drive as usual back home. I didn't know that depending on the country, you might have to surrender your license in exchange for a Philippine one. Also, in the UK my license doesn't "expire" until I'm 70. Only the photo card part has to be renewed every 10 years, to check that the photo still looks like you.
Look up Republic Act 9439 (the Anti-Hospital Detention Act) and the Department of Health Administrative Order 2008-0001 that implements it. Under RA 9439, a hospital must release the death certificate and the documents needed for burial to the family. However, under the implementing rules, a hospital may require a promissory note for documents requested for other purposes. There is also a provision that patients who occupied a private room are exempt. The document you need now is not for burial but for late registration of the death, so before signing anything that makes you personally responsible for the ₱872,182 hospital bill, I recommend getting legal advice first. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has a separate late death registration procedure. It requires an accomplished death certificate, an affidavit explaining the reason for the delay, proof of burial or cremation, and approval from the local health officer. There is also a rule that if the hospital administrator doesn't prepare the late registration affidavit, the family can prepare it instead. You can request a Consular Report of Death Abroad (CRODA) directly from the U.S. Department of State using Form DS-5542. It doesn't have to come from another relative. A CRODA does not automatically replace a Philippine death certificate. But since it looks like the hospital provided documents to the U.S. Embassy, ask the Dumaguete Local Civil Registry Office whether it would accept the CRODA as supporting evidence. My recommendation is to bring the hospital's written demand, a PSA certificate of no death record, and your correspondence with the embassy to a Philippine lawyer or, if you qualify, the Public Attorney's Office (PAO). Ask specifically whether it is legally permissible to require you to sign a promissory note as a condition for releasing the documents needed for late civil registration. Don't sign any settlement agreement or become a co-debtor until you understand what your financial liability would be.

You probably thought you were getting a beer...
