The very moment he hears that crunch

Our Lab could hear a banana being peeled from upstairs. When my girlfriend said so, I thought she was joking, but he proved it. 😂

Somehow my dog can sense when I'm holding a banana. I don't know how he knows, but the moment I pick a single banana out of the bowl in the kitchen, even from the living room where he can't see the kitchen, he knows for sure I have a banana, and he waits politely, drooling all over my floor, hoping for a bite.
