I had the unagi don, and the eel itself was good. However, calling it a donburi felt like a stretch. There were about 2-3 bowls of rice, and it was mushy. The sauce was also way too little for the amount of rice. I don't like mushy rice.
A social structural analysis video on why the Philippines cannot develop despite having the potential to do so.
It's a vicious cycle because powerful families monopolize politics and society...

YouTube Philippines 112
Yesterday, I visited the Philippines 112 shelter, which was established to help those living difficult lives in the Philippines.
Inside, there was the representative and four residents of the shelter.
Since I was staying for just one day, I expressed my gratitude and shared the drinks I brought.
Although everyone came here for various reasons, I could see a glimmer of hope in their eyes, as they refused to give up. They have to cook their own meals, and even make their own kimchi. The sujebi (hand-pulled dough soup) we had last night was also made from scratch using flour they bought themselves from a large sari-sari store nearby. Despite these challenges, they all seemed to be getting along well, supporting each other without complaint. The refrigerator and kitchen were also stocked with various donated foods.
Even when sleeping, everyone gathered in the living room and slept together under the air conditioning.
The only drawbacks were the lack of toilet paper in the bathroom and no flush button on the toilet. Other than that, the indoor living conditions and hygiene were acceptable by Philippine standards. Of course, it might be challenging for those who are sensitive about hygiene. I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again to the representative for doing such wonderful work.
As I left after staying for a day, I wished for a bright future for everyone there.

Went to Chowking after seeing Gray's review.
Ordered the same menu as in the review: Sweet and Sour Pork and Lauriat.
The set included: crispy fried shrimp chips, fried rice, dumplings, noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork (255 pesos), and pineapple juice (15 pesos).
Very satisfied with the Sweet and Sour Pork. This dish has never disappointed me, no matter where I've had it. It's just a delicious dish on the menu.
Very satisfied with the fried noodles. I'd want to order the fried noodles separately. Satisfied with the crispy fried shrimp chips. Satisfied with the crispy rice cake. Satisfied with the juice. Satisfied with the dumplings.
The fried rice was so-so. The price was so-so. Finished everything neatly.
Unlike Mesa, I was satisfied with the whole meal.

It seems that the YouTuber known as 'Enjoy Solo' is currently causing controversy in the Angel Sarangbang community, causing inconvenience to many residents...

Mesa.
I went here after seeing Gray's review.
As per the review, I ordered the baby squid, eggplant salad, Halla Halla, and Seven Up.
The baby squid was tasty, but it was fried, not stir-fried. The taste was ordinary.
The eggplant salad was a huge failure; I almost threw up.
The Halla Halla was delicious.
The shock from the eggplant salad was too much. There were many customers.

Street food skewers across from McCafe in the evening
Isaw 10 pesos
Gizzard 10 pesos
Sausage 15 or 20 pesos
Pork fat 35 pesos
Pork ribs 35 pesos
Rice 15 pesos
Didn't try other items like chicken neck or feet, so I don't know the prices.
Everything I tried was delicious, except for the pork fat. The pork ribs were especially good – sweet, with a great meat-to-fat ratio and a satisfying chew. I downed two cans of beer right there.

Pass under the Friendship Bridge in Clark and find 'Biggies Pizza' at the entrance to Friendship.
This is a place where you can taste authentic Italian pizza.
The dough, cheese, and sauce are all delicious.
It's amazing that Filipinos make the dough and bake it in a wood-fired oven,
achieving a quality that truly seems learned from authentic Italy.
Among them, my favorite pizza is 'Level'.

Something not so good happened today,
so I went to the rooftop lounge feeling down and ordered caldereta (495 pesos) and an Americano (90 pesos).
Even in a bad mood, a guy like me still enjoys good food when hungry. It was so good that I added a bowl of rice (50 pesos) and ate two bowls. The seasoning is very much to my taste.
If I rank the top three by taste among what I've eaten so far:
1 The spicy tofu dish at the bar where the handsome part-timer works (I ate it all, even the red chili bits, ready to gulp down water. Luckily it wasn't spicy)
2 Tonkatsu and jeyuk at 80 Samgy Korean Unlimited BBQ
3 Sweet and sour pork at Hong Kong Fortune.
Today's caldereta was good enough to threaten third place.

Ordered the donkatsu and jeyuk. The jeyuk portion was generous. And it had a smoky flavor! The donkatsu portion was also generous. The donkatsu sauce was really good.
Kimchi. The Jeolla-style seasoning was rich and delicious.
My friend can't handle spicy food well, so I ended up eating most of the jeyuk myself.
A place I need to visit regularly.
Delicious place.

Friendship Tom N Toms Parking Lot Robbery & Rape
Robbery & Rape Incident at Tom N Toms Parking Lot in Koreatown.
The victim posted a video directly on Facebook.
I heard from my wife that the Philippines is a similar country...
I briefly went to Korea in April this year for my children's final paperwork.
My wife and I visited Korea, and I ordered my mother's pollack and seafood stew.
When I was young, she made an amazing clear pollack soup, which was one of my top 5 favorites.
As I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate more complex flavors, so I asked her to make it in a seafood stew style.
It was so delicious, I was absolutely blown away.
My wife, who was eating with me, seemed satisfied too. She said she'd make it for me when we got back to the Philippines.
I'd eaten it a few times after that, but it was always missing that certain something, like it was only 98% there.
Finally, I've achieved 100% accuracy!
So satisfied!!!
