This is a Korean restaurant specializing in sundae soup (sundae-guk), located in an alley off Amur St in Friendship Korea Town, Angeles. According to a 2026 blog post, it started around October 2022 as a small place with about seven four-person tables. As customers increased, it expanded and moved to its current location, and later opened a branch in Pasay, Manila. At the end of September 2026 it closed for a while for renovation work, and it has been taking customers again since early October.
Many reviews say the broth, served in a ttukbaegi (earthenware pot), is rich with little gamey smell, tasting similar to a Korean gukbap restaurant. Several reviews say the house-made blood sausage and the generous portions of head meat and offal make a single bowl filling. There are also frequent mentions of the tasty kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) and geotjeori (fresh kimchi) served alongside, with people saying they got several refills. You season the soup yourself with the daedagi (seasoned chili paste), perilla seed powder, salted shrimp, and fresh chives on the table. Many say the tables are spaced generously, making it comfortable for families and groups. However, there are also reviews saying the broth or meat had an odor, and that the sundae had a lot of cabbage so it didn't feel much like blood sausage. One review also says the suyuk (boiled pork) ordered late in the afternoon was tough.
The most commonly ordered item is the standard Miss Jin Sundae. Many reviews say people choose the Bulkkot Sundae-guk (Flame Sundae Soup) when they want a spicy broth. Miss Jin Sundae, Bulkkot Sundae-guk, Osori Gukbap, and Sunsal Gukbap (boneless gukbap) are ₱400, the Special Miss Jin Sundae is ₱450, and the Pork Gukbap is ₱350. As drinking snacks, many customers add sundae or suyuk. Sundae and suyuk are each ₱600 for small and ₱1,000 for large, and the sundae + suyuk combo is ₱1,000. Several reviews say that broth comes along when you order a side dish. Soju and makgeolli are ₱250. It is said that many customers come to cure a hangover after a night of drinking or for a hearty meal after golf.
According to Google Maps' popular times, it is busiest every day around lunchtime, from 12 noon to 1 PM, and Saturday lunch is the busiest of all. According to Google Maps, Wednesdays and Saturdays also tend to be busy around 6 PM. Several reviews advise going around 2 PM, since it gets crowded at lunchtime and you may have to wait. Several reviews say delivery is not available, and according to Google Maps, takeout is available.
According to Google Maps, free parking lot and free street parking are available. It appears there is no wheelchair-accessible entrance. Right next door is Kann meatshop Restaurant, Irooda and Robinsons Easymart are about 50 m away, and Halla Hotel is about 100 m away. You can make inquiries by phone or Facebook.
Information checked: November 2026 (based on the online reputation card, Google Maps, Google reviews, Naver blogs, Tistory, and YouTube reviews). Menu and prices may change, so please check before visiting.
