When I browse Philgo, I see many people from Manila or Cebu, but it seems like there aren't as many residents of Davao as I expected.
I'm suddenly curious if there really aren't many Koreans in Davao, or if they're just not very active in the community, so I'm posting this.
Are there any people currently living in or who have lived in Davao for a long time?
As I've been living in Davao myself, I've thought it would be great if we could easily share local life, good restaurants, and new information with each other.

While I've seen Koreans living in areas around the Philippines, it's really impressive that you're running a business in Davao. I've never heard of it being a tourist destination.

I thought Davao was a no-go zone due to Muslims and civil war, so I was surprised to see you there and looked it up. It turns out it's a region with a travel advisory. I'm curious about the actual safety situation there.
I initially thought Davao might be a dangerous place, but after actually living there, it turned out to be quite different from the image I had in mind, haha. Of course, there are places to be cautious in any city, but Davao seems to have many areas that are surprisingly comfortable and good to live in. If you get the chance, I recommend visiting!
If a friend living in the Philippines says they're going to visit, I'm totally up for tagging along!
