Looks like they just stuck a phone in and peeked into the room, and caught it right before the guy dropped. They did linger on the couple a bit, but it doesn't seem deliberate. Anyway, this is a work of art.

I almost had exactly this happen at a wedding on Saturday. Not as the one picking up the girl, but as the one falling. Luckily I was still sober enough to hold on.
Setting all that aside, this looks dangerous if there's a fire. There's an emergency exit lever, then one narrow strip of tile floor and right after it the stairs, and below that is... a beige abyss. If panicked people see that lever and all rush toward it, they'd end up looking like something out of Resident Evil.
