That there's a country called Curaçao.

I thought I knew the names of countries and their approximate locations, populations, and GDPs better than most people my age, and that I knew all the country names in the world... but Curaçao is a country I've never heard of before, and I had no idea where it was located.

I learned about the existence of such a country for the first time through the World Cup...
