Korean in broad daylight armed robbery in Manila Malate โ€” 2 suspects arrested via phone GPS tracking

๐Ÿ“Œ On the afternoon of July 14 on a street in Malate, Manila, two men on a motorcycle held a Korean at gunpoint and robbed him of his mobile phone and a bag containing travel documents.
Police used the phone's GPS tracking to catch the armed perpetrator and the buyer of the stolen goods, while 1 suspect remains at large.

ยท Two men on a motorcycle approached a Korean man living in Pasay, pulled out a handgun, and threatened him
ยท Fled after stealing his mobile phone and a sling bag containing travel documents

ยท Manila Police District Station 5 tracked the phone's built-in GPS to locate a house in Santa Cruz
ยท Arrested the armed man (residing in Quezon City) and the man who bought the stolen items (residing in Santa Cruz), and recovered the phone and belongings
ยท An accomplice estimated to be 20-23 years old (alias "Ramram") who rode on the motorcycle is still at large
