I left the Philippines this morning. It was my first time using the e-gate as a foreigner, and it was great. There was no line at immigration. It seems they don't stamp your passport on departure unless you ask, but you get a "departure record" by email instead. It has all the details about your departure, so I think it's worth saving. Security screening was fine too, though I can see it getting backed up easily if it were any busier. Anyway, my last two experiences at NAIA have gotten better each time. I'm still curious why Manila will need 4 airports in the future, but oh well.

You don't need to keep your departure info. You do need to keep your arrival records.

The main airport for Manila will be in Clark. NAIA can't be expanded.

I'm 100% in favor of having an actual stamp. There are so many things that could cause problems the next time I enter... No, forget it, just give me the stamp.
