October international flight fuel surcharges from Korea up by 2 levels — Korean Air Manila and Cebu one-way 116,200 won
📌 The fuel surcharges for international flight tickets departing from Korea and issued between October 1 and 31 have gone up by two levels, from level 21 in September to level 23.
For Korean Air, the Incheon-Manila and Cebu one-way fare rose from 109,500 won to 116,200 won, and for Asiana, the Manila, Cebu, and Clark one-way fare went up from 124,100 won to 128,700 won. This applies to all Korean residents and travelers flying between Korea and the Philippines.

· Benchmark: Average Singapore Jet Kerosene (MOPS) from August 16 to September 15 was $158.57 per barrel (377.54 cents per gallon)
· Application: Based on the ticketing date, not the departure date. Applies to tickets purchased from October 1 to 31
· Korean Air all routes one-way 49,000 won to 362,600 won, Asiana 53,400 won to 301,200 won

· Air Busan Cebu·Bohol·Kalibo: $71 → $78
· Trinity Airlines (changed name from T'way Air in September) Incheon-Clark·Kalibo, Daegu-Cebu·Clark: 78,200 won → 82,300 won
· Aero K Cheongju-Clark·Cebu: $70 → $76
■ Tips for residents and travelers
· Fuel surcharges are based on the ticketing date, so they will not be additionally charged on tickets you have already purchased.
· Even on the same Southeast Asian route, the amounts vary by airline, so make sure to check the actual fuel surcharge in the "Taxes and Fees" section right before payment.
· For round trips, the surcharge is applied twice. A Korean Air Manila round trip will be approximately 232,400 won.
