The Liberty Mutual ads are the worst big-company ads I've seen. The dumb guy in the leather jacket has never once been funny, and he says "Beaverty" and they went with that? Limu Emu is awful too. And it's not even "bad but I get why it's memorable" bad. It's just 100% pure diarrhea.
I could put up with it if they just didn't spam it so much. 90% of my YouTube ad time is Liberty Mutual.
They're doing what GEICO did before settling on the gecko. Spraying out bad ideas like a shotgun to see if any new mascot or slogan sticks.
Progressive still runs several different campaigns at the same time.
Progressive's "becoming your parents" ads are really funny.

Honestly, I'd never even heard of this character until the John Oliver segment. I'd heard people say "Liberty Beaverty" and knew it was about an insurance ad, but I didn't know they'd made a cursed mascot. Send it to the gallows.
