How can I send USDT to the Philippines without the recipient needing any crypto?
I'm looking for a way to send USDT to a Philippine bank account.
Most of what I've found involves cashing out on an exchange first and then sending the pesos separately. The recipient just needs to receive PHP in their bank account, so this seems like a lot of hassle. Is there a service that converts it and sends it straight to the bank?
Also, has anyone compared the amount the recipient actually gets with Wise or Remitly, especially for small transfers?
Most replies say that if you pay with USDT through Oobit, the recipient gets pesos right away via InstaPay. Others mentioned selling USDT on Coins.ph and receiving the money through GCash or a bank. Someone explained that Wise isn't what the poster is looking for, since you'd have to convert USDT to dollars first.
Oobit supports this. You pay the transfer with USDT, and the recipient gets PHP straight into their Philippine bank account via InstaPay. They receive pesos, not USDT, so they don't need a crypto wallet. First check that your sending country and their bank are supported.
wise
You can create a coins.ph account and sell the stablecoin there. It supports lots of blockchains, so you're not tied to Ethereum. The process is similar to creating a GCash account.
Try Binance and use your bank account as the direct peso withdrawal. But for it to go smoothly, you both need to be online during the transaction.
