On my first day in Manila in the summer of 2018, I had dinner at Myeongga, then went to a JTV, stopped by Eras, and was heading to Eurotel to stay there. As I was walking towards Eurotel, I saw a street vendor selling Mamiperez for 25 pesos. I bought one and it was so delicious, I almost ate the wrapper too!

I couldn't forget that taste, and after a whopping seven years, I was singing the praises of Parez and Mamiperez, so my friend took me to a place.

It's near the rotary, close to SM.

I remember everything was under 100 pesos.

I ordered one Parez and ate it very late at night....

It wasn't the same taste I remembered from back then.

I guess there's a big difference in taste between eating something when you're excited and when you're calm.

It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't great...

When people are excited and hyped up, everything seems fun, everything tastes good, and nothing feels difficult.
