This was the first place I visited with my friend who picked me up when I went to Angeles in 2019. I had been singing its praises, wanting to go to Don King even before I arrived.

It was a Korean-style Western-style pork cutlet. Delicious, cheap, and generous portions. At the time, it was around 230 pesos, and that was even after a price increase, but the portions were still huge. The taste was so good, it could rival Korean Western-style restaurants. My friend told me to eat quickly, and I asked why. He said he only had a short break for lunch and had to get back to work. I understood, and after quickly finishing my meal, my friend asked if I wanted to go anywhere else before taking me home. I told him to drop me off at SM and then head back to work.

My friend used his phone to mark his home on Google Maps for me, dropped me off at SM in a hurry, and went back to work, telling me to meet up after he got off. I played games at World of Fun and ate Shawarma Shack.

I walked to the location my friend had marked on Google Maps, intending to head home.

Later, my friend was very surprised when I told him I walked there. I wondered why he was so surprised, but when we drove there later, I realized how far it was and was surprised myself that I had walked that distance. I was that excited back then.

I believe it has since closed down.

If a restaurant with this level of quality can go out of business, it made me realize how difficult it must be to survive in business in Angeles.
