412 Pampang Market Fire Stall Owners in Angeles to Get ₱10,400 Each — Payout on the 12th
📌 On Thursday, November 5, Pampanga 1st District Representative Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. announced that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has approved ₱10,400 in assistance for each of the 412 stall owners affected by the September 17 (Thursday) fire at the Pampang Public Market in Angeles City. The payout date is Thursday, November 12.
■ What's changing
· According to Punto! Central Luzon, Rep. Lazatin sent a letter to the DSWD regional office on the day of the fire requesting 25 days' worth of Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT), and it has now been approved.
· The list of beneficiaries was drawn up and submitted by the Angeles City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
· Starting Monday, November 9, staff from the congressman's office will call the beneficiaries to give them details about the payout.
■ Tips for residents and travelers
· If you are an affected stall owner, don't miss the call from the congressman's office coming from the 9th, and confirm the payout location and what you need to prepare at that time.
· Any contact asking for a fee in exchange for claiming the assistance on your behalf could be a scam, so verify directly with the congressman's office or City Hall.
