Aero K to Push for Cheongju–Manila Charter Flights Starting November 19 — 4 flights per week, not yet finalized

📌 On August 19, low-cost carrier Aero K announced plans to operate Cheongju–Manila charter flights about four times a week from November 19 to March 27 of next year.
While the Cheongju Airport slot has been secured, the Manila Airport slot is still under negotiation, and as of October 3, no final confirmation has been released. This is welcome news for expats and travelers commuting between the Chungcheong region and Manila.

· Route: Cheongju ↔ Manila, operated as charter flights (charter plane style) rather than regular scheduled flights
· Period: November 19, 2026 ~ March 27, 2027 (winter season), reviewing around 4 flights per week
· Schedule: Late-night departure from Cheongju → Early morning arrival in Manila the next day / Early morning departure from Manila → Morning arrival in Cheongju
· Aero K currently operates the Cheongju–Clark route and plans to expand its Philippine destinations by adding Manila

· Cheongju Airport slot: Secured
· Manila Airport slot: Under negotiation — It was initially stated that final operation status would be confirmed in mid-September, but no subsequent reports on confirmation or ticket sales have been found.
· Fares, exact flight numbers, and days of the week have not yet been announced.

· Since it is not yet finalized, the schedule may change or be canceled. If you are considering this route, please check the Aero K official website or app announcements first to see when bookings open.
· Charter flights have a higher possibility of schedule changes than regular flights, so be sure to check the refund and change policies when booking.
· November fuel surcharges will be newly set in mid-October (October Aero K Cheongju-Clark/Cebu one-way $76).
