No joke, most horses actually have more than 1 horsepower
The house always wins in the end. I used to be on a responsible gambling team at an online casino, and you'd be shocked how many people get their lives wrecked by this, and in some cases even lose their lives.
LOL what an idiot, I swear. Bro, some of these scams deserve to be studied, because you honestly can't even hate the player. You've got to hate the game. Like my dad always said, the only people making any money these days are pill pushers and scammers.
Apart from things with sentimental value, I'd suggest just buying everything new when you get here. It's probably cheaper than shipping all your stuff from the US.
No insurer I've seen will touch you once you hit 75, so it's pretty pointless — and if something happens in the next 12 months, they'll find a loophole anyway. You have only one option: self-insure. Keep the money, and you'll need a lot — something like 1 to 2 million pesos in an interest-earning account. Not in a Philippine bank. Just make sure someone you trust completely can access your passwords in case you're incapacitated, or have a high-limit credit card.
Try searching on Facebook. I've seen people advertise exactly this kind of service in various groups there.
I have, and got burned the first time. First, check prices at several kiosks. You'll probably get wildly different prices. Second, make sure you're getting a genuine Apple OEM battery. The first time I was sold an aftermarket 'AA' battery, and about 6 weeks later the voltage dropped and took out the motherboard. It's worth paying a bit more for the real thing. Finally, while they have your phone and are working on it, stay close and watch. It's not unheard of for less reputable kiosks to swap out other parts if they get the chance. I went to Greenhills in Manila, if that makes any difference. Good luck!
This is so stupid. I love it

Legendary movie. It even has Christopher Lee as the blind prophet guy in Hades. Slander of the '90s Odyssey will not be tolerated here!
Never lend what you can't afford to just give away.
I live in Cebu and I've learned passable Bisaya. People here understand Tagalog, but you'd still be tagged as an outsider. I learned it because it's the one thing that screams 'I'm not a tourist, I live here.' Still, learning a whole new language as an adult is hard.
Yes, for certain firmware (FW) versions and below. A lot of the exploits used for the JB got patched to death in the new firmware last month. You'll be waiting a long time to play GTA VI on a JB console.
That cat knew full well it was about to fall and didn't care until it became its own problem 😆
Watching the start again, there are a couple more being carried. So sweet.
Imagine being the neighbor, watching a tortilla frisbee splat and crumple against your window

Express services are best — much quicker, fewer stops.
1+1 or just walk

The immigration office at Gmall in Cebu tried to make me change my ACR card for a first-month extension because of a 'new requirement', saying I had to go to the Lapu-Lapu office. Both offices were completely empty in the middle of the day.
