Say they get around 2,500 USD a month, maybe more, for doing absolutely nothing, for life until they kick the bucket. That puts them in roughly the top 3% economically. So, what do you think now? Isn't the top 3% a pretty good catch? Just asking.

Yep, you've won the Dumbest Question of the Day award 🥇 🥳

Gonna see this on explainthejoke soon
Well, obviously? What else would a younger woman want with an 80-year-old? She was just waiting for the cha-ching payday.
Normal here
I usually find that bigger strawberries don't taste very good. They're just pumped full of water to make them bigger. The small ones are really packed with natural sweetness and flavor.
If you ride illegally without a license and have an accident, any insurance you had is void. What if someone gets seriously hurt or killed? You could owe a huge amount of money and will most likely end up in jail. Trust me, you don't want to spend even one day in a Philippine jail.
Seeing everyone having fun really put a smile on my face. But there will always be people who find a way to be miserable about it.
I can understand forgetting the lyrics, especially if you don't speak French..... But how do you forget the basic tune???
If 'liberal' means liberal with their money, yes.
That's why I have an account with USAA. They don't do that. I've been here on and off for 11 years and never had a problem
Instant karma.
Turn your savings into investments, not cash
Not sure about your condo specifically, but mine takes the ID as a kind of collateral for the visitor pass, just in case there's a problem while they're here. Maybe you could talk to the admin/building board about a process where they take a copy of the digital ID and hold something else, like a bank card, as collateral (though I wouldn't want to do that myself)

It's from this year's comedy animal photo list, if anyone wants to see the rest: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/gallery/2026/oct/03/comedy-wildlife-photography-awards-2026-in-pictures
With a generator and solar, is there any kind of power drop when a brownout hits? I'm thinking of bringing my desktop computers since I also work online, but I'll be renting, so installing solar isn't on my list ....

Why? Because the price of the second item is already baked in, or what? Why is it fake? Is this a low-IQ post, or do you have any more explanation to back up your claim?

Your options are: Boracay Siargao Elyu (La Union) Maybe Cebu Boracay: cozier, everything is between Station 1 and 3. No taxis, but it's mostly walkable (there are e-trikes if you get tired). Nightlife vibe: a mix of locals and foreigners. Siargao: you'll need to rent a scooter to get around outside the main area. Nightlife vibe: very Western, lots of young foreigners. Which bars/clubs are popular on a given night depends on where the foreigners decide to go, and they're like 70 to 80% foreigners (last time I went, anyway). Elyu: like a mini Boracay, a lot less to see but more of a city vibe. Nightlife vibe: not many foreigners when I went. Cebu: haven't been, but I imagine you'd have to make a trip to Moalboal.

Where did you get this from? Filipinos DO go camping with campfires. Marshmallows, Kumbaya, the whole thing. It's banned in some protected areas and during certain seasons, though. But yeah, campfires are nothing foreign to Filipinos.
