The prices were cheap and the part-time staff were friendly. They also had a karaoke room, and although it was out in the suburbs, it wasn't bad for driving there. It went under, huh. When I went there the other day, there was no part-time staff, the whole menu had changed, and I'd wanted to try the good-value menu, so it's a pity. I heard this place was run by the owner of Angry Crab, so I wonder if they'll ever open something like this again.
I heard ManChoo Friendship has been good for about 10 years, and this time I went there after visiting Robinson Mart next door. I had the stone pot bibimbap and it was pretty good. The side dishes were not bad either. I think we should hold a bibimbap showdown.
Delicious. The meat quality is great too, and the side dishes are good. It's almost a perfect score. However, the prices are Korean-style, so it's expensive. That's why I docked one star. Also, there are girls selling avocados at the entrance.

It feels like a place where upper-class people go. Major events in the Philippines are held here. It feels like a place you'd mostly visit for high-ranking official business. If you want to watch New Year's fireworks inside Clark, I recommend this place. I go here once a year.
The oatmeal and Pringles cookies here are really good, I recommend them. Sometimes I buy them in bulk and give them out as gifts.
Ah, you're in the Manila area. What a pity, if it were around Angeles, I definitely would have used it at least once to celebrate your registration.

Miss Jin is still Miss Jin I went there because they said remodeling was done, but I guess it was just the kitchen. The dining area looks the same. I only see two weird dolls. Sometimes the free drinks from Chanel KTV are tasty too. Even though the radish kimchi wasn't fully fermented, it's still good. If anything, the cabbage kimchi seems a bit different.
I've been there twice since they opened, and the gukbap is good, except that the portion leaves you a bit wanting. It's not as rich and heavy with meat as Miss Jin Sundaegukbap, but it has a clear broth base, kind of like the style of gukbap you find in the Jeolla-do region in Korea.
Visited in 2023. I bought a glass of juice, but didn't find anything particularly special about it. It was just average.
If I remember correctly, I went there in November 2917. The food was just okay, and the only things I remember are some fuss over what juice to order. It was my first time ever having coconut water, so I ordered out of curiosity. My friend said watermelon was way better and ordered that instead. But the coconut water wasn't as good as I thought, and my friend's watermelon juice was so much better, so I remember regretting not listening to my friend—assuming I'm even remembering the right place. I also remember something about a 'babae' (bar girl). I took her in the car and asked what she wanted to eat, and since it wasn't her money anyway, she named an expensive place like Angry Crab. That turned me off completely, so I took her to a cheap joint instead.

Every Friday, they feature Thai, Greek, Mexican, and Indonesian food, so I'd love to go on a Friday. I'll have to go check out the atmosphere sometime in the evening when I have guests over.
The pizza is on the saltier side and not exactly cheap, but they have thin crust as a standard, the pasta is delicious, and their discount events are great.
Unless you're a Korean who's fluent in English, there's no real advantage.
I'd forgotten about it because the prices went up. Mud crabs are best at Angry Crab... I was disappointed with the trash-quality, meatless crab shells I bought cheaply on the street, thinking I was getting a deal... Even though it's expensive, it's the best quality crab in Angel. Once you try it, you'll understand why it's worth the price! If someone treats me, I'm definitely suggesting we go here first.
LD 400, girl 170, has a drinks menu, mostly in the 300-400 range. Heavy pressure for tips.
This part is a bit tricky. It might be great for white people, but I don't think it fits Koreans that well. It seems to be more suited for outgoing and chatty Koreans rather than those who are shy or a bit reserved.
It's better for Koreans' mental health to just not go.
Daily Settlement The most delicious thing I ate on this trip. Yukhoe Bibimbap and Pajeon at Jinju Sikdang. It's tastier than in Korea. You can choose between spicy and mild gochujang to your preference... And the buchu-jeon (chive pancake) was so crispy, like "wasasak." The kimbap and side dishes were also delicious. Overall, I rarely found Korean restaurants in Angeles to be inferior to those in Korea. I think there's no need to have preconceived notions or biases just because it's overseas. The only downside is that the prices are the same as in Korea.
Visited for dinner before watching the new Spider-Man movie with my kid's mom. Whether it was good luck or bad luck, they were out of steak, so we tried other dishes. The conclusion is that it was decent. The dish I ordered was Beef Stroganoff. They say it's a Russian dish, but it's basically beef with cream sauce and various vegetables mixed together, similar to roast beef. The dish my kid's mom ordered was Beef Tagalog. My kid's mom tried it once and finished it in 10 minutes. She said it was delicious. When I tried it, it was just like Beef Tapas. All the meat was tender, so it was a good meal for me, whose teeth aren't great. However, it wasn't quite at the "wow" level~~~
While it might not be as popular as J.Co Donuts, this is a chain with many branches widely distributed locally. Since it's a global chain, the products sold are the same worldwide. It's great to buy a box when you're craving a snack.
My second favorite Filipino restaurant after Santouka Ramen (which is closed for renovations). It's a place that Koreans can enjoy without being picky. You must try the Baby Squid in Olive Oil and the 2-way lying.
A place that comes to mind when eating crab I really enjoyed the set menu with the sauce. It's a bit pricey, so I don't go often, but I recommend it when you're craving crab. When I'm short on cash, it's great to mix the sauce with fried rice.
One of the go-to places that comes to mind when thinking about Filipino food. I have a fond memory of enjoying delicious Adobong Baboy at Kubo a long time ago.
This place in Angeles feels like a Manila LA Cafe. I remember it more as a meeting spot than for the taste of the food.
The carbonara chicken and the macaroni served as a side dish were delicious. The set meal also gets good reviews. The first floor is a stage, and the second floor is a karaoke room. There are consumables, but the karaoke room isn't great.
I recommend everything except the tonkatsu. Yukhoe bibimbap, gimbap, tteokbokki, cod, etc.. The tonkatsu was the worst. It might have been the chef's mistake that day, but it was still too much.
This is a different kind of haejangguk than Yangpyeong Haejangguk, with a clean-tasting broth.

Thanks to a friend, I got to try Boom Chicken. I never thought about eating there in person, but wow, eating it at the store is a whole different experience. You really have to eat Boom Chicken at the store. There's a reason why there's always a line from lunch until closing. The portions are huge. For delivery, it's 24 Chicken, but for dine-in, it's Boom Chicken. It's a 500 peso happiness. The sides are good too. A great experience thanks to my friend.
Sundae-guk is Miss Jin's. That's a fact. But it looks like a brain and crumbles more than tofu when you eat it. What is this? It even tastes like makeup, and eating it makes me feel bad.
It seems like they mainly cater to group tours with their tour bus, and the side dishes are good. Although not on the menu, the pork cutlet is worth trying for 300 pesos. It has a slight gamey smell, but the side dishes are delicious. Their heyday was when they first launched the pork cutlet during the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant has been remodeled and is now a bit cleaner.
I've been to the Manila Chanel and the old building Chanel. I never imagined they would build a Chanel building. It's a place I can comfortably take guests to. The noodles I had after leaving were the most impressive. While eating Miss Jin's gukbap, the Chanel mama-san even gave us drinks. I should remember Tuesday. The karaoke machine here is the best. I can sing songs I normally can't! Superstar is good too, but...
Most places aren't usually guided by Koreans themselves, but this is a spot where the owner is actively involved.
Back in the day in Angeles City, JTVs were really cool. I remember one named Peach, who reminded me of a watermelon.
This place is also popular as a stage and many Westerners go here. You can watch XS at 8:30 PM and then head to Avalon.
Ten years ago, among the places run by Koreans, Dragon and Viking had the most kids. A place my friend liked. I wanted to give the shop right next to Dragon Bar a low rating, but it's already closed down. They used to drive customers away.
This is also a place where the managers work hard.
The manager is really kind. My friend also raved about it.
This place is a must-recommend. They have shows at 8:30 PM, 10:00 PM, and 11:30 PM. It's the best stage show in Angeles City, and it was so moving, like a performance reminiscent of Broadway in the US. I plan to go back soon to confirm the exact showtimes.
The managers are so friendly and good at sales, but it's strange, there are hardly any kids there. If you want to go, you absolutely must contact them first.
Some places look a bit different in photos than in person, but this place is decent compared to some businesses in Manila.

If you go with two people, definitely order the jeyuk (spicy pork) and donkatsu. I can't handle spicy food well, but having someone else order it to share is the best.
