This restaurant sits on the corner where Malabanias Road meets Don Juico Avenue in Angeles. It serves mainly Western food, along with some Filipino and Asian dishes. It has long been a regular spot for expats, and several reviews come from longtime regulars who say they have been coming for over 20 years. It expanded and moved from its old location to the current building, and blog posts from 2024 onward show the restaurant as it looks now. One longtime regular regrets that the atmosphere and portion sizes are not what they were before the move.
Many reviews say the inside is much bigger than it looks from the outside, and several describe the atmosphere as like a rural American sports pub transplanted here. There are pool tables, and one review says they are good for playing with other customers. There is also a separate group seating area where you can eat. One review says the old newspaper clippings on the walls, the Elvis memorabilia, and the humorous signs are fun to look at. However, some point out that the hall is large, so sound echoes and the music is loud, making it hard to have a quiet conversation.
American-style breakfast can be ordered all day. Reviews praise the tacos, home fries, lumpia, pork adobo, and carrot cake, and one review says the Thai dishes are adapted to Filipino tastes, sweeter and spicier. One review says cocktails and the daily specials are the main draw, and the restaurant itself promotes the Super Jumbo Margarita as its signature drink. On the other hand, some reviews say the burgers, BLT, and breakfast items fell short of expectations. Several also mention slow food or difficulty getting staff's attention, so there is a steady stream of comments that the food and service are inconsistent.
According to Google Maps popular times, it is busiest around 7–9 PM every evening, and on Saturdays customers start flooding in around 6 PM. Sunday evenings are quieter than other days. One review advises that pool table fees are added to the bill, so check the itemized charges before paying.
According to Google Maps, free parking lot and free street parking are available. There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance, restroom, and seating, and reservations and takeout are available. Night Moves Resto Bar is right next door, Thunder-birds AC Resto Bar is about 50 m away, and the Clark Main Gate and the Petron gas station are about 150 m away. You can make reservations or inquiries by phone, through the website, or on the Facebook page.
