@wooraemae Hello. First, I sincerely thank you for your interest in our store and for leaving valuable feedback about how we run the business. After reading the post you shared, I have come to deeply recognize that, contrary to our intent, the way our notice was worded and how we responded may have caused you considerable anxiety and discomfort.
However, I would like to honestly explain the misunderstandings you may have, as well as the background behind the measures the store had no choice but to take.
1. There is absolutely no intention to threaten or "set up" guests.
Expressions such as "taking responsibility" or "penalties upon detection" that you were concerned about were not directed at ordinary guests who visit the store in good faith. They were strong warning statements intended to prevent certain malicious illegal acts that may occur inside the store, or illegal acts that threaten the store's operations itself (for example, illegal filming, drug-related activity, or deliberate acts that disrupt the store's atmosphere). We have no reason or authority to impose any penalty or threat on guests who come to enjoy themselves normally, and illegal conduct such as "set-up assault" is absolutely not permitted under our store's operating policy.
2. There are practical limits to resolving employee contract violations by dismissal alone.
The guest's point that "if an employee violates the contract, you can just fire them" is correct in principle. However, when an individual employee acts unexpectedly or violates rules, simply cutting that person loose is not enough: it leads to losses for the store, and it puts the livelihoods of the entire store and the other employees at risk. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that the store must firmly block not only internal staff management but also external malicious acts themselves.
In addition, if you do not like this post, there is nothing that can be done. However, we hope you will reconsider by looking at it from our side once more.
I hope you will reflect on the point that saying "I'm too scared to come" effectively amounts to a "set-up assault" scenario if anything goes wrong between you and the store.
It seems you read this post with a very prejudiced view.
Thank you for your long message.
