This is a rooftop pool club on top of The Barman Hotel (formerly ABC Hotel) on Don Juico Avenue in Angeles. Starting on the 7th floor of the hotel building, close to Walking Street, it spans three levels, with a pool, a jacuzzi, and a bar, plus a sky bar on the upper floor. It opened in December 2016, and in October 2026 the hotel was renamed from ABC to The Barman; the business announced in its news updates that it reopened after a renovation. There may be differences from reviews written before that.
Many reviews say that during the day it feels like a resort where you relax by the pool, and at night, with lighting, DJ music, and dancer performances added, it turns into a club. Most of the guests are foreigners, and several reviews describe a laid-back atmosphere where groups gather at their tables rather than dancing on a stage; the music is a matter of taste. There are towels, robes, lockers, and shower rooms, so you only need to bring a swimsuit; one review says you can't get in the water wearing regular shorts, and that swimwear can be bought or rented on site. Many say the staff are friendly, though some reviews mention orders coming out very late, and opinions on the food are split between "decent for a club" and "below expectations."
Seating is divided into bar/regular tables, VIP tables next to the pool, and cabanas. The largest, the Presidential Cabana, has a two-story layout with air conditioning and its own restroom and shower, and is said to be popular for group parties; there is also a Deluxe Cabana that fits around six people. Many reviews say cabanas work not by a rental fee but by ordering a set amount of food and drinks. Themed parties are held on different days of the week, and every Halloween there is a costume party where you can only get in if you're in costume.
Looking at the popular times on Google Maps, on the busiest days guests crowd in around 10–11 p.m., while on quieter days the busiest time of the day is around 3–5 p.m. The atmosphere peaks on Friday and Saturday nights, and many reviews advise booking in advance because the cabanas and the VIP seats beside the pool fill up early. Many reviews say that outside male guests pay an entrance fee that is credited toward food and drinks, while women and hotel guests get in free. You order with the numbered wristband you receive at entry and pay everything at once when you leave, but several reviews report double charges or wrong items on the bill, so be sure to check your bill. People under 18 are not allowed in.
According to Google Maps, there is free parking and free street parking, as well as a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking spaces. SM City Clark and 69 Rock Bar are about 200 m away. You can make reservations or inquiries by phone, Viber, email, Facebook, or the website.
