Saw a police chase today. The cops were losing.
I live in a neighborhood with lots of turkeys, and I can confirm this is 100% accurate. They just strut around judging every puny human they see. They care NOT for your fancy metal contraption!
In my experience they're not the sharpest knives in the drawer. One came at my (75 lb) dog, who was doing his best to make it clear they weren't welcome near us. I was sure it would stop at a safe distance and stop following us. They have a lot of loose feathers if you give them a good hard shake.
Yeah, I once had a dachshund, and one fall afternoon a turkey locked eyes with him and decided to run over and bully the little brown creature That was the happiest that dog had been in a long while
I could tell it was Suffolk County before I even saw the side of the cop car. The turkeys here are jerks.
The wild turkeys near me are so shy and timid — I wonder what makes these ones so aggressive?!
Training. Three months of basic, three months of mustering, then they send you into the bush to fight.
"I'd like your name, badge number, your supervisor's name, and the hours they can be reached at the station, please!" 😡
They were like "Bro, open the door and come out — we just want to talk," but the police didn't trust them.
"No luck catching them turkeys, then?"
This is what you get when the president pardons these fowl creatures year after year and just hopes we won't see a rise in gang crime.
