Go visit Samal. It's a 15-minute ferry ride and costs 20 pesos. There's a restaurant bar called BAUM where expats hang out, and it's run by a German guy.

I'm not German, but I was stationed there for 2 years. Does that count? 😆 I've been here for a year and a half now. Welcome, it's a really great place.

Why not hang out with locals instead of only Germans? What's the point?
