Why are Filipinos all so obsessed with drama?
The whole culture is nothing but drama, drama-like situations, and gossip about foreigners and their drama.
Every time I watch a drama or a video, I feel like I'm throwing away a ton of money I could have earned by working during that time. But the people who actually watch dramas are about to sink into debt or just complain all the time. I've met a lot of foreigners too, and all they talk about is drama, like who got deported and whatever.
Is the Philippines really that boring for most people?
Sounds like you've got some strange people around you. And watching it online is strange too. Why not just live your own life?
Maybe it's because it's damn hot and humid and people lose their minds faster 😁 From what I know, there's scientific research saying the hotter it is, the more irrational behavior you get. The rest might be culture, or it might not. Who knows.
That's called boredom.
They just copy the US and other countries.
