Where and when do expats meet up in Baguio? Thanks
There's a meetup at Quoted Cafe every Thursday - I've never gone because of coding (that's my excuse ;) truth is, I'm not retired or free all the time) https://www.facebook.com/groups/2555821867893249 There's also a Baguio beer drinkers club that meets regularly, and Jonathan Myl is the head of that clan ;) https://www.facebook.com/groups/893707047440566 And there's the Wednesday Afternoon WASH. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1214969086134325 Jonathan Myl again.. And I've heard there's a hiking club (I'm not in it, so no idea what it's about) A few other things too, but hardly 'active' meetups. And NO, there aren't expats hanging around French Baker and such where you can walk in and grab a few, like some nutcases imply ;) No offense :D Lots of expats here are in MYOB (Mind Your Own Business) mode for various reasons. And a few, like me, try to fly low for way too many reasons. Good luck Are you an expat?
The Baguio Beer Drinkers Foundation (founded 1963) holds a weekly WASH (Wednesday Afternoon Story Hour). It's a very informal group where expats get together to swap stories and hang out. The venue changes every week, but it usually starts at 3:00 pm every Wednesday.
Good question. I'm in the Bakakeng Norte area
