Has anything changed with the BAI lately?
Does anyone in this group travel to the Philippines with their dog more than twice a year? We do, about two or three times a year. Every time, we apply for an import permit from the BAI and have never had a problem. This year I went back on the BAI website to apply for my second import permit. The last one I got was dated April 2026. But to my surprise, the website showed a notice saying the BAI only allows one SPS Import Clearance application approval per year. I couldn't start a second (or third) trip application like I normally do. I've never seen this before.
Does anyone have the latest info?

We're island hopping with our dog right now. We got it multiple times just last month. You may have clicked the wrong option.
From what I remember when I imported my dog and cat, there were limits on the number of pets you could bring in and on the number of entries and exits. My wife had to import 3 and I had to import the other 3, and I believe it's up to twice a year.
I know that starting January 1, 2027, BAI will newly require a rabies antibody titer test, and that you have to fill out a separate BAI form for each animal.
