I'd like to get a sense of what it's like to go to Manila to renew a visa. Do you have to do it every 60 days? Is it a long process, is there an interview, or do you just fill out paperwork?

For an extension you only need your documents and cash. It usually takes about an hour.

You don't need to go all the way to Manila to extend your tourist visa😁

You can go to the main BI office, but you don't have to. I like it there too, it's a nice area to spend a day. Whether it's the main office or a branch (I like the SM North branch), they're all pretty much the same. If you get there right when they open, it's usually done within 20 minutes.

It took 20 minutes in Makati and cost 6,400 pesos. But that was included in my ACR I card.
