I don't want to get my seat taken on the sofa, but I also really want to snuggle up with Mom.

This dog is so gorgeous. I don't know anything about this breed, but with that face I'd melt right away.

Malamutes are truly amazing dogs. I have 5 of them right now, and I've mostly raised this breed my whole life. ❤️

Thanks for sharing more photos! So the gray and white coloring seems to be the signature look of this breed. Is the fully white one a mix with another breed?

No, Aspen is a purebred Malamute! Both of her parents are gray, but one of her grandparents was completely white, so it showed up through gene expression. At home I have 3 'classic' gray ones and 1 red! Red coloring is recessive, and the wooly coat type is also recessive. It's called 'wooly' and is considered a fault in the breed standard (though they're still so pretty, especially right after grooming).

Aspen says "Get well soon!!"

Yes.
