Walmart clearance item.. It's opened, taped shut, and 9 condoms are missing.
Shouldn't items with signs of tampering be pulled from the shelf?
I thought so too... they should be removed. But the handwritten part was funny.
I wonder who could win in court if someone got pregnant.
Someone careful enough to prove it was a whole pack of condoms would be careful enough to not use discount condoms.
I can't even imagine how you'd tamper with individually wrapped condoms. No need to worry.
Seriously, who steals condoms? You can get them for free at the health center, for real.
Answer: teenagers. I worked at four Target stores over eight years, and every time, condom theft spiked right before the nearest high school dance. They'd come in after school with backpacks, grab a few boxes, go straight to a back corner, empty the boxes back on the shelf, and walk out with the condoms in their backpacks. Prom was the biggest, Homecoming was second. Do you know what season it is now? I'd bet the OP's local high school just had Homecoming or is about to.
If it would stop broccoli heads from being born, I'd be willing to hand them out for free.
I bought a dress there once. I wore it to work and the stitching on the right sleeve completely burst and the sleeve fell off. I figured it was headed for the trash anyway, so I returned it, but they put it back on the shelf at full price with the sleeve wide open, not even washed. It still had the return tag on it, and it was definitely the same dress I returned. I haven't bought any clothes there since.
