Everyone, I'm a bit confused about the visa rules. I'm arriving in Manila on January 12, 2027 (12/01/2027) and flying back from Manila to Germany on February 10, 2027 (10/02/2027). If I count January 12 as day 1, that's exactly 30 days. Does that fit within the 30-day visa rule? Or is day 1 actually counted as day 0? I've read a lot of different things.
Thanks for all the answers 😊
Even if you arrive at 11:30 PM, day 1 counts toward the 30 days, and the last day is your departure date.
It's scary to leave a country before you've even arrived.
If you count January 12 as day 1, then January 12 to February 10, 2027 is exactly 30 days. But you didn't say what time you actually arrive in Manila. The 30-day visa-free stay is based on your actual arrival date in the Philippines, not your departure date from Germany. I'm an American who also speaks German, and I leave on January 12, 2027 but arrive on January 14, so I can't answer your question exactly.
