Hello, I have a question. I need a phone service to receive two-factor authentication texts for my U.S. bank and brokerage accounts. I'm already in the Philippines, so could I set up a Tello account or something similar from here and still receive the 2FA texts? I'm currently using Google Fi, but it ends at the end of this month. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

You can open a Telo account in the Philippines too. You just need a VPN.

I have a Vanguard account and a PNC bank account, and both now allow overseas numbers for two-factor authentication.

I think most US carriers require you to be in the US when you activate. If I'm wrong, I'd really like to know which ones can be activated in the Philippines. I use US Mobile and I'm happy with it in both countries. But I originally activated my account while I was in the US.
