Thai ad writers are geniuses.
Could someone explain what people find confusing about bok choy and "kwang toon"?
In Thailand, the bok choy variety is called phak kwangtung hongte. Kwangtung means Guangdong in Thai. There's Guangdong bok choy and Hong Kong bok choy (phak kwangtung Hong Kong), and the Hong Kong one is the bigger variety.
I think I just had a stroke.
Kwang Toon is the name Thailand uses for what most of the world calls bok choy.
That's how ads should be.
Honestly, I don't mind ads if they're actually fun. But these days it's either abstract art nonsense where you can't tell what they're selling even at the very end, or annoying garbage that practically shoves the product or service down your throat.
Are you saying Liberty Biberty isn't the best?!
I lost it at "the camera's this way." Getting weird looks on the train now.
Having the dying man briefly wearing her dress in one of those short flashbacks where someone keeps saying "kwang toong" was the best part for me.
I rewatched it and it's honestly the best. Pulling that off with eyes that crooked is impressive. The best.
