Another example of how sad the state of wildlife protection is in the country: a tarsier found dead on a road in Samar

I heard tarsiers show self-harming behavior when they get extremely stressed. I hope more people are made aware that tarsiers live nearby, and that noise gets kept away from them.

This is what happens when they lose their homes. It was reportedly found on a concrete floor, not in a forest or on soil. On a stone floor. Poor things.

The DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) has no intention of protecting them. They even allowed China to strip the Sierra Madre mountains bare.
