I've never seen a video of a horse that wasn't dumb. Horses are basically the Labradors of the countryside animal world.
To be fair, when a Labrador acts dumb, at least it's not a 1.1k lb (about 500 kg) mass of muscle.

My mom's mare goes crazy for peppermints. She knows the crinkle of the plastic wrapper and would fly across the pasture to get one. No need to shake the feed bucket to get her in, just bring the crinkly wrapper and she'd already be there lol
I don't know much about horses, but wow, why is his head chained to the stable like that? Edit: Please don't reply with "crossties." Eight people already have.
I'd guess it's during a vet checkup or hoof trimming. They keep the head secured so he can't bite.
So that's why he gets treats for staying calm.
