Is it still worth it?
The math doesn't add up. How does driving 30 km/h faster save 4 minutes? -_-
I think it saves about 15 minutes, but I could be wrong. It might also just be engagement bait.
13 minutes, so that checks out.
I really hate it when people say speeding is pointless. Of course you don't need to speed to go to the grocery store near home. But if you're driving 8 hours to your parents' place, going just 10 mph faster cuts off over an hour.
Speeding only makes mathematical sense on very long trips that are about 90% highway. On a normal trip under 20 minutes, you save 2 minutes at most.
189 isn't 200, though.
What does 'a 1-hour trip' even mean in this equation? If you drive for 1 hour, you drive for 1 hour. That has nothing to do with speed.
But if you drive at 200 km/h, you'll arrive in 1 hour, right?
Look at the Germans:
Germans never drive in the middle lane at these speeds. They stick to the right.
