How's the speed and connection on your Starlink?
Has anyone bought one at SM Megamall? Any lessons learned or tips would be much appreciated.

The Mini with Roam is on sale for $250 directly from Starlink. As I understand it, the only way to deal with Starlink customer service directly is to buy direct. If you buy from a reseller, they become your customer service contact. Go to the Starlink website, change the country to the Philippines and enter your address. You'll see the current deal. The Mini is only slightly more expensive, and maybe not even that right now with the sale. But with the Roam plan (no more expensive) you can take the Mini receiver anywhere. The residential kit is tied to your house and can't be moved. The Mini works in your car, can go on vacation with you, anywhere you want. It even fits in a backpack. For travel, moving or emergencies, the Mini is the way to go. A new Mini comes out next year, and in my opinion it's not as good as the current one. And it'll surely be $500 for a long time, just like the current Mini, which only recently went on sale.
Just order directly from Starlink. I think I got mine in 2 days
I use a Starlink Mini as backup. Around 200 Mbit down and about 15โ20 up.
Ordered the Standard direct and had it shipped to Duma. The Mini I bought in the US but activated in the Philippines. No issues. The app is easy to use. The only con for me is obstructions. Sometimes I'm unlucky and the hotel balcony faces away from the satellite. But I only need it when the hotel internet is down or super slow.
Get a battery backup and surge protection for the brownouts. It'll run a TV, a light, a fan and your laptop for hours.
Speed and connection seem fine for the European and American missiles using it, which is why the Russians are now launching their own system, and the Chinese too
