Has anyone here sponsored a student in the Philippines? Which reliable organizations did you use? I'd rather not give money directly to a student, to avoid any possible problems.

We sponsor a few children (for a nursing degree and a school for the deaf), and we do it through trusted Filipino friends and get receipts for the tuition. In my opinion, higher education is the best way to improve the lives of both them and their whole family.
