The skylight above my bed was going crazy this morning
I really love watching animals play.
Have you ever seen the video of a crow sliding down a snowy roof on a tray? If not, I think you'd like it.
One time a flock of crows/ravens was walking through my yard, and there were patches of unmelted slushy ice scattered across the lawn. As they walked, they all stepped around the icy spots, but the one at the very end must not have seen them. The moment its foot touched down, it started scurrying across with moves straight out of Monty Python's Ministry of Funny Walks 🤣
The little one seems to have thought you were pretty busy in bed this morning. Remember, birdwatching goes both ways.
"Excuse me do you have a moment to talk about Jesus our Lord and Savior ooooh"
Is that the same bird, or is it a pile of dozens of birds knocked out on the ground? I'm dying to know!
I love hearing the tiny squeak as it slides down the glass.
This reminds me of something that happened at my parents' house, on the skylight, when I was a kid. It had rained the night before and there were water droplets on the glass. I looked up during breakfast and a squirrel was stuck to the glass licking the water, and I could see its little tongue pressed against the glass 😂 Sadly it was the 90s so there was no way to record it, but it was so funny. As far as I've seen, it hasn't happened again since. Once the estate is properly settled I'll be moving into that house, and I hope I get to see a squirrel do that again someday.
