If I remove the SIM card from my iPhone, can I still make calls on a regular phone or mobile phone, and still receive calls and messages from the same numbers?
Without a SIM it just doesn't work... that's it. Isn't that obvious?
I was about to ask something similar. Can a car run without gas?
When I went to the Philippines, I swapped my US SIM for a Globe SIM. You have to register that number under your own name or someone else's name you know. I still keep that SIM for when I return to the US. When I put the US SIM back in, all the messages and missed calls from that time showed up. I've used a Globe SIM every time I visit the Philippines and never changed the number. Hope this helps. You can also call landlines and mobile phones, but you need to buy a prepaid card. Don't turn on roaming, or you'll get charged a fortune.
I want to call US landlines and receive calls from landlines. I use Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, but neither of them lets me call landlines.
Most iPhones these days are eSIM, so you physically can't remove it. If you have an older phone that uses a real SIM card, then no, you can't make calls without it.
