He saw his chance and didn't miss it
I'd definitely have done this to my wife. And she'd have punched me.
I'd be scared of killing mine with this. She can put up with a lot, but not jokes like this. And even if she survived, I'm genuinely worried whether my nipple would ever go back to a normal color.
The very specific fact that your wife apparently twists your nipples when she's mad has me cracking up so hard.
Babe, remember when you thought you were literally going to die? Hilarious!
When I'm driving, my partner will look up from her phone and gasp loudly at totally normal traffic, because she was so absorbed in whatever she was looking at that snapping back to reality startles her. It's pretty annoying. I try not to call her out on it too harshly, but sometimes I still do, because gasping while I'm driving freaks me out.
My mom does this, and it's incredibly unsafe. I'll be making a normal turn, she'll look up from her phone and gasp, and for that split second I have to figure out whether she sees something I don't... in the middle of a turn.
This is top-tier dad material
Saying this before someone hits me with "you must be fun at parties." But I wouldn't do this. People can be unpredictable when they're startled. I could see someone yanking the wheel and actually causing a crash.
You must be fun at parties
I did this to a coworker back in the '90s when I worked for Two Men and a Truck. I pulled up behind a tow truck hauling another big truck while my coworker was asleep and just started screaming. It was a fun start to what was otherwise a bad day, and knowing what kind of day we were about to have, I kind of wish I hadn't done it.
