Has anyone recently entered the Philippines with a passport…

Hello everyone!

Has anyone recently entered the Philippines with a passport that had less than six months of validity left?

I hold a French passport. It's valid for my entire stay (under 30 days), but it won't have six months remaining.

I read a post saying there may be exceptions to the six-month passport validity requirement.

Has anyone entered the Philippines smoothly in this situation, or run into problems with the airline or immigration?

I'd really like to hear real experiences, especially recent ones.

Thanks in advance!

I think a passport with less than 6 months of validity is completely useless. I always renew mine when there are 12 months left so I never have to cut it close.

I ran a red light yesterday and didn't get a ticket. Everyone, ignore red lights... nothing will happen...!!! 😆 The immigration requirements are the same, just ignore them... 😁😎

This immigration circular is the only reason it was possible, but it was suspended during the COVID pandemic and there's no indication it's back in effect. https://immigration.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/SBM-2015-026.pdf

Usually it's the airline that stops you from boarding.
